Information on personal data processed under the GDPR

starting with May 25th, 2018, the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data becomes applicable.
The aim of the GDPR is, on one hand, to harmonize the legislation on the protection of personal data in Europe and, on the other hand, to increase the level of personal data protection and to create a trustworthy climate that allows each person control over own data.

1. Collection of personal data, categories and purpose of processing

If you access the “Contact” section of the site and fill in the required information: surname, first name and e-mail address, we will use your information to manage your queries and respond to you. We inform you that it is possible to store the information provided by you for further consultation and to provide you with services as close as possible to your needs.
The processing of personal data is based on your consnt and/or the legal ground regulating the business activity.
We also inform you that when you visit a website, you disclose certain information about you such as your visit date, from where you entered our website, browser type, operating system. This information allows us to create statistics on the number of visitors by the type of area and other criteria. The information collected in this case does not lead to your identification.

2. Processing period

The processing of your personal data will take place until the date you withdraw your consent on the processing or until the date set by the legal framework for the processing of certain personal data. Your data will only be stored for the time required to reach the processing goal. If we come to the conclusion that, after the expiration of the period or withdrawal of consent, there is a legitimate interest, a legal obligation or a ground for further processing your data for other purposes, you will be duly informed of this.
After the expiration of the processing period indicated above or after the withdrawal of your consent and if there are no legal or legitimate grounds for processing your data, the data will be deleted.

We undertake to maintain the safety and security of your information and will use adequate technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized loss or access.

4. Rights of the person concerned on data processing 

In the context of processing your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • The right to access the processed personal data – meaning the right to obtain from us a confirmation that we process or not personal data concerning you and, if so, access to those data and the conditions under which they are processed, by submitting a request in this respect, using the contact details below;
  • The right to request the correction or deletion of personal data – meaning the possibility of requesting us the correction of inaccurate personal data, filling in the incomplete data or deleting your data in certain cases, by submitting a request in this respect, using the contact details below;
  • The right to request the processing restriction – meaning the right to obtain from us the processing restriction in certain cases, namely when: you consider that the data processed by us are inaccurate,  until their correction; the processing is illegal, but you do not want us to delete your data; the company no longer needs the personal data for the aforementioned purposes, but you request them to find, exercise or defend a right in court; or you opposed to processing, for the period when we verify if the legitimate rights of the company are prevailing over your rights;
  • The right to withdraw your consent to processing – if it is based on your consent, without affecting the legality of the processing performed up to that point;
  • The right to oppose to processing – meaning your right to oppose the processing for reasons related to your particular situation, when the processing is based on the legitimate interests of the Operator or is made for direct marketing communications, involving the creation of profiles ;
  • The right not to be subject to an automated decision, including profiling – meaning the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automatic processing, including the creation of profiles, which would have legal effects on you or would affect you to an significant extent;
  • The right to data portability – meaning the possibility to request the move, copy or transfer of your existing data into our database to another database, in a structured, commonly used and readable format, only in cases in which processing is based on your consent or the performance of a contract and is done by automatic means;
  • The right to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data;
  • The right to appeal to competent courts.
  • The withdrawal of the consent may take place at any time, simply and without having to provide a justification. By withdrawing the consent, all your personal data will be deleted, unless there are legal or legitimate reasons for processing your data.

    5. Data transmission

    We undertake not to transmit your personal information to any other person or company other than the authorized partners to provide communication services on behalf of RECON S.A. No other person, whether natural or legal, will be permitted to use your information in their own interest or any other party, unless required by law or by a public authority.

    6. Cookie statement

    A cookie is a small data file generated by a website and saved by your web browser that collects information about your online behavior.
    Its purpose is to retain information about you, similar to a preference file created by a software application. You can use your browser settings to manage your cookie preferences but in this way some site features may not be available. RECON S.A. will not personally identify visitors and will not use the cookies to contact you.
